Happy Birthday Empire State Building
Today marks the eightieth birthday of New York's most famous icon, also the place where King Kong went rock climbing when the building was almost brand new. The model above was created by Super Modeler Damo for April Fool 2011.
Coincidentally the first World's Fair occurred in London twice as many years ago today. Here's another model by Damo of the pavilion.
