Actual screen capture of Loch Ness in Google Earth-- hoax or real? |

They're back? Grover's Mill, NJ gets un[Google-]earthly visitors for the second time in 73 years. |

On the River Thames in Google Earth-- Houses of Parliament and a... what IS that? |
I didn't want to get *too* close, but I managed to snap this screen capture on Google Earth of what appears to be a whale-like creature in the River Thames, London, near the
Houses of Parliament. It's a bit grainy, but I only had a moment's notice. If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself!
EDIT:
More bizarre sightings have been occurring both on Google Earth and
Google Maps. Virtual 3D tourists/citizen journalists have sent in their screen captured snapshots. Many of the pictures are blurry and inconclusive however it cannot be denied that something strange is going on . . . I wonder if there are any more?
EDIT 2: Well apparently it was some sort of April Fool prank. Fooled me. But did you catch any of the surprises? If not maybe next year. The screen shot below shows how the fantastic creatures appeared in 2D form on Google Maps, thanks to Google graphic artists or artist. Anyone know who drew them? They looked super cool.
