Have I Been Asleep for Two Months?

When I said in my last post that "everything is different" in the SketchUp/geo/modeling world, I didn't literally mean it.

But now I'm wondering if I should have.

Today I previewed a 3D building model in the Google 3D Warehouse and used the Street View tab to check for accuracy. All very normal. But...

I was surprised to find a new "user photos" option within the Street View window, as well as a snazzy new interface similar to Microsoft's Photosynth (where similar photos are aligned for a smoother viewing experience).

When did all this happen? First the new SketchUp 8 and now this. Cool stuff. I wonder how many more surprises lie ahead?
