Fort Duquesne SketchUp Model

Fort Duquesne SketchUp model rendered in Shaderlight

As part of a book illustration project I am working on, I created a digital model of the old French Fort Duquesne, formerly located in what is now downtown Pittsburgh, PA.

I'll use the digital SketchUp model to help me visualize the fort from different angles and eventually draw it as a pencil sketch.

For more information about the model, the fort, and the book project, check out the illustration blog here.

Looks great!

By the way, have you finished your complete model of old Penn Station yet?

Thanks Milo and SittingDuck -- and no, the forever-in-process Penn Station model is still waiting to be finished. Maybe the next book?

Render is looking good.
And I'm very curious what your model of Penn Station looks like!
